Presidential University to be established in Uzbekistan

This was announced at the press conference in the Agency of Information and Mass Communications with participation of the leadership of the Ministry of Higher and Secondary Special Education of the Republic of Uzbekistan and rectors of higher education institutions.

Establishment of the Presidential University is provided for by the Concept for Development of Higher Education System of the Republic of Uzbekistan until 2030. It will become a leading education and scientific center for training professional personnel with high qualifications, modern knowledge and skills, independent thinking. In addition, a system of credit-module education will be introduced at the University.

At the event, it was also noted that applicants will pass exams in five subjects upon entering the university.
